• Profile of the participants

Youngsters between 12 and 25 years with a residence in Luxembourg can participate. This category is not open for people with a film diploma or working in the movie industry. 

Young people can be supported by social or educational professionals. 

People who have won the first prize in this category are not allowed to participate in this category again. 

• Conditions

In the Crème Surprise category, participants are invited to create a clip that surprises the audience with an unexpected turn of events, an original twist or an ending that no one could have predicted. 

The duration of the clip must not exceed 90 seconds (including the end credits).

The clip must comply with copyright regulations. The organizers reserve the right to exclude clips that promote hatred, violence and intolerance  or with pornographic content  from the competition.

• Selection

From all the clips submitted, approximately 20 to 25 clips will be presented to the public during the Crème Fraîche event.

• Awards

The public will vote for the three winners in this category during the event.

• Profile of the participants

• Conditions

In this category, participants are invited to compose a story set in Room 15 of the Fraîche Hotel. The narrative should be captivating, build suspense and capitalise on the unique atmosphere of the location. 

The script must fulfill the following criteria: 

• Maximum 4 pages
• Location: Room 15
• Languages: L, D, F, E
• Maximum two actors
• Logline: summarise your script in one short sentence. This short summary must be clearly recognisable on the first page of the script. 

The script must comply with copyright regulations. The organizers reserve the right to exclude scripts that propagate hatred, violence and intolerance or with pornographic content from the competition.

• Selection

An independent jury consisting of 5 to 6 young people will select the 3 winners in this category.

• Awards

The winning script will be produced by the winners with the support of the SNJ. The script can be adapted if needed. The winners will be announced during the Crème Fraîche Event.

• Profile of the participants

Youngsters between 16 and 30 years with a residence in Luxembourg can participate. This category is open for people with a film diploma or working in the movie industry. 

People who have won the first prize in this category are not allowed to participate in this category again. 

• Conditions

Participants are free to choose the subject of their screenplay, but must adhere to the following criteria:

• Maximum 9 pages
• Languages: L, D, F, E
• Maximum three actors
• Logline: summarise your script in one short sentence. This short summary must be clearly recognisable on the first page of the script. 

The script must comply with copyright regulations. The organizers reserve the right to exclude scripts that propagate hatred, violence and intolerance or with pornographic content from the competition.

• Selection

An independent jury consisting of three young people and three people from the film industry will determine the winners in this category.

• Awards

The winning screenplay will be produced by the SNJ and CNA under professional conditions. The screenplay can be adapted if necessary. The organizers reserve the right to choose the director of the movie. The winners will be announced during the Crème Fraîche Event.  

By entering the competition, participants agree that if their screenplay wins first place, they will transfer in writing to the organizers, with full effect, all economic exploitation rights to the screenplay (including the right to reproduce, adapt, publish, distribute and perform it) under Luxembourg copyright law. The moral rights of authors, including the right of authorship and to object to derogatory modifications, shall remain as provided by law. This authorization applies only within the framework of a professional filming and/ or a cultural or educational distribution of the film.
